Fortis, Graya Precinct-Shaping Hamilton Plans Waved Ahead

The next chapter of Hamilton’s high street is poised to begin as two major property players win separate approvals to turn a strip of 1970s Brisbane shops into the best thing since James Street.

Double Bay placemaking developer Fortis has been greenlit by the Brisbane City Council for its four-storey shoptop development (pictured above) at 53 Racecourse Road about 7.5km north-east of the River City CBD.

Meanwhile, Graya has won the nod for its four-storey proposal, The Gallery, next door at 63-71 Racecourse Road.
