Philip Usher Unveils 1000-Home Central Brisbane Masterplan

Plans for the first stage of a Brisbane masterplan that has been 25 years in the making have been filed.

Philip Usher Constructions has submitted its proposal with the Brisbane City Council for the first 953-unit stage of a mixed-use development in the Kangaroo Point section of the Woolloongabba Priority Development Area (PDA), across from the new Gabba Entertainment Precinct.

The builder-developer proposes two residential towers as the first stage, comprising apartments from one to three bedrooms and covering a “mix of affordability”.
